Young carers

A young carer is someone under 18 who provides care for someone who is ill, disabled or has other problems.

Havering Young Carers supports young people aged 5-18, who provide emotional or practical help for a family member who has a long-term illness, disability, mental health or substance misuse issue. (Young carers | Carer support | The London Borough Of Havering)

Imago

Imago runs a specialised young carers service on behalf of the council which supports young carers between the ages of 5-18.

Their services focus on improving health and wellbeing, tackling loneliness, building social and educational opportunities, and helping people access the right support (IMAGO: Imago Community)
